Dear experts,
For DCO, is there a way to read data from RFID tag via ETL? Is there any customer cases before?
Thanks,
Ziqiang

Hi again
Apologies for my assumption
Yes, this info can be integrated - DCO has a robust and mature system for integrating data from other sources via ETL. Also, with the v8 DCO train there is now an API which can be used to write some information to DCO. Both of these require custom development, i.e. programming.
Depending on the full requirement, it could be quite a simple excercise or quite complex. It's hard to tell without a scope.
As always, the first step is to understand in some detail what your customer is trying to achieve and how they will measure success of such an integration, i.e. "the scope". Then you can find out how it can be done and what the cost would be. Contact Vigneron Guillaume who oversees such development works when you have the scope. I may be able to assist if you get stuck
Do you have a sample Excel sheet?
Cheers
Ed

Hi Ed, Thanks for your prompt reply. I know that we have a connector that support RF Code, but we want to integrate RFID information from other brands, not RF Code. If the RFID company can provide excel or DB interface, is it able for us to integrate these information into DCO? Thanks, Ziqiang

You can view the API at https://<DCO8serverIP>/api/current/docs/index.html The APIs are in transition. If you want to write into DCO (as opposed to read from it) you use the DCO 8 API (URL above) or ETL. Cheers Ed

Hi Ed, Thanks, I will contact Guillaume later via email. Do you have any materials about the API you mentioned? Is IT server information also possible to import? Ziqiang
