Hi, myself and a customer have experienced performance issues with the DCO client in rooms with complex power configuration. In this case, the customer has what is essentially a redundant-distributed-redundant configuration necessitating 6 UPSes and 12 static transfer switches all in a single room, plus their power distribution panels to mimic their configuration.
When loading this electrical room, client performance is noticeably reduced, making any changes or even just viewing equipment properties in that room a difficult task.
Any suggestions to improve this performance? This occurs running on a baremetal box with an i5 and 16GB of RAM as well as in a high performance terminal services-type instance.

Can the customer share a client log file just to see if the client is complaining about something? Can you describe in more detail what they mean by "noticeably reduced" in that what specifically seems slower?
Couple of off the top of my head comments without studying a log file.
May need to increase the memory allocated to the DCO desktop client which is normally capped at 768M. If you edit the client ini file in the application folder where the desktop client is installed you can try increasing that value to 2048M. When opening a room which is fed from a number of other sources, all of the rooms are opened so the client consumes more resources.
Second item to try which is quicker. Make sure the link icon in untoggled (unlinked) in the desktop client in equipment browser and the power path tabs as when that is checked in a complicated room the client has to complete a lot more work each time you click somewhere.
Could also be something on the server side making the client "feel" slow so it may be necessary to see server logs.
