Hello,
is it possible to deploy DCE virtual appliance over Hyper-V?
I think this topic was commented in the previous DCIM Support Comunity. Regarding to this, is the information of the previous community available in any link?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Javier,
As far as I know DCE was never supported on Hyper-V.
As described in the following page:
The Data Center Expert v7.x server is available as a virtual appliance, supported on VMware ESXi 6.5.0.
Kind regards
Hi Jzurera,
Actually, you're both right...As Jef mentioned, only ESXI is officially supported.
Hyper-V has been seen to work but getting it deployed from what I remember was not in the instructions (or officially supported) but I too recall comments on the old forum as Jzurera mentions.
Sadly, we don't have access to these older posts just now but I am told they are working on getting those old posts up on this site. I have no ETA.
Steve
Per Steve's not officially supported.
Requires conversion from OVA, unzipped to OVF, convert it to VHD format for Hyper-V.
The conversion is the tricky part, on making sure storage works.
Would not recommend that for production DCE.
I wished we can still access the old forum, lots of useful info there.
