DCE is properly configured in DCO as an external system. Test connection says OK.
However on the notification bar at the bottom of desktop clients I can see different number of critical and warning errors:
Upper notification bar is from DCO while at the bottom you can see DCE
System details:
DCE: 7.5.0.62
DCO: 8.2.2

Hi Mate,
I think there might be some delays in alarm synchronization. Usually DCE will push new alarms to DCO more or less immediately after it receives an alarm. DCO will also on a regular interval (Full alarm synchronization, user configurable) load all alarms from DCE to guard against communication lost etc.
Kind regards

Hi Jef,
Thanks. I am familiar with regular sync between DCE and DCO. But this discrepancy is active more then 1 month.

DCO backup file
Screen capture from: DCO (Alarms tab) and DCE (Active Alarms) showing alarms Description, Device Hostname, Time Occurred

Kid regards

Hi Mate,
I have studied the provided data and it appears Alarms in DCO (from DCE) have not been updated over a month ago. Try the following, that should restart the jobs - in desktop client go to System Setup > Externals System Configuration
edit the integrated DCE (1)
Next (2)
Finish (3)
Save and close (4)
Kind regards

Do you have any other suggestion? I just realized that communication break is not just limited to alerts. I created new virtual devices in DCE but these were not show in DCO under unassociated devices..

Hi Jef,
Just let you know: I rebooted the whole DCO server and it resolved the issue. Sorry, but I could not wait more time because it caused problem in our daily operation.
However I would like to know the result of your analysis which caused the problem.
Thanks,
Mate

Hi Mate,
We have been studding the provided data, but it is not clear why the DCE jobs were not running. Issue could not be reproduced locally and we could not see any error entries that could show what might be the cause, but we could see the DCE jobs were not updated.
Glad to hear that rebooting the server have resolved the issue.
Even though the cause of this issue is unknown, however it is recommended upgrading the product to latest version (8.2.12 released now).
Kind regards
