Hello team,
is it possible to import Barcode field from an ETL import process? We do not see this field in your documentation for the Configuration_Item table:

Hi
I suspect this is a documentation error. This link to Import DB schema graphic show barcode.
Another way is to check the columns in the database
Cheers
Ed
Apologies, I misread the barcode for a connection in the network_connection table as a CI barcode.
I followed my own advice by creating an import DB in DCO 8.2.7 and there is indeed no barcode column in the configuration_item table.
However, using the web client, I added a device with a barcode to the model and added a barcode to an existing asset. So I assume that its possible via the RESTFUL API.
I'm surprised the addition of a barcode in the import DB is not possible. I recommend you add a feature request to have this column available in the import DB.
Kind regards and again apologies for my mistake
Ed

Hello Javier. The ability to import bar code in etl has recently changed as a ci_barcode field is available in dco 8.2.12 (see below screenshot).
Also in the ETL import definition you can set whether the imported barcode replaces the barcode value in the general properties in dco. In fact in dco 8.2.12 you can also lock the name, serial and bar-code fields for cases where the imported data is system of record (see below screenshot from the dco 8.2.12 web client). The ETL interface was moved to the web client between 8.2.7 and 8.2.12.
