Has anyone looked at linking temperature sensors connection via A-Link to either older Battery Data Loggers, or even to PDU's and/or Netbotz devices.
These all seem to use the APC proprietary system A-Link, however I have not been able to find much details or manuals that cover this for the A-Link system

As far as I understand and have researched APC A-link is for connecting APC A-link to APC A-link and that's that. Plus on long runs you will need the end of line terminator......

A-Link is a proprietary bus, based on CAN physical interface and use proprietary protocol for data exchange.
It's designed for interconnection of APC devices such sensor pods and external sensors with Netbotz appliances. Or you can cascade G2 rPDU in order to reduce IP addresses and save monitoring capability.
If you want to connect temperature sensor with display to PDU or Battery Logger via A-Link, you can do it and your sensor will receive power via A-Link bus. It will show you temperature on display, but you can't see measurements on PDU interface because it's not supported by firmware.
If you have some device with A-Link bus, you can find nfo about supported devices in user manual.
