Maintaining consistent communication between 3 remotes and an AP is proving to be difficult. This is a 900mHz, series radio at various distances from pump stations. The closest one is 150 feet away from the AP. The other two are between one and two miles away. It's set to Tx at 10 db at 256k. Tx is set to 30 at 256 for the other two sites. Can you tell me what the ideal TX strength of the AP should be?
According to what I've read on this forum, we're having some issues due to less than ideal configuration settings. In this example, the AP has PTMP, 256k, retransmit = 3, hop interval = 100, radio retries = 10, back off time = light, radio Tx power = 27, radio trusted remotes = all 3 remotes are marked as trusted, Rid Eth filtering = Uniarp, and net connection = static.
Each remote has a Laird Yagi antenna, while the AP has an Omni antenna FG8966.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Hi, It is possible that there is configuration setting that is not correct. Is it possible to run all Tx power to +30dBm (1watt). The ideal Rx signal at each unit should be better than -90dBm. A simple way to check this is to run Trio Diagnostics found here:
Trio TView+ Software (Version V3.31.0 build183)
https://www.se.com/au/en/product-range-download/61419-trio-licensed-radios/#/software-firmware-tab
Please send me your configuration files and I can check them.
Thank you
