As of end of 2019, Schneider operates 13 net-zero carbon sites, located in China, North-America and Europe, and 200 toward zero waste to landfill, with 50% electricity coming from renewable sources; we actively leverage the experience from those sites and accomplishments in digital energy management to accelerate the implementation of EcoStruxure power, building, and grid solutions, towards decarbonization and net zero carbon in our portfolio and supply chain, and importantly those of our customers.
As a rule for existing buildings, we investigate feasibility of smart solutions which can yield 30-50% efficiency through both through the use of software and monitoring solutions, and the installation of energy efficient equipment and other levers to facilitate conservation.
