Hi All
I'm struggling to bit Strip a word in the Device Type Editor. The 8 bits in the word are for 8 different statuses that I need to show in vista.
Thanks
Marius

Hello, in this case you have, for example, Input Register Address 300201 bit 1 for status X. Then in box modbus address 300201 and in box Register Mask is equivalent to the bit in Hexdecimal.
If this is your case, follow the attached capture, and I captured the image in the MDI that it was before becoming a device type, but it follows the same line of reasoning.
I hope I have helped and that there is understanding, as I used google translator.

Hi Braganca
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
I tried your way and a couple of different option but I just cannot seem to git it right.
I tried different Formats, from U16-12, PackedBool, MaskedBool, BCD and PackedBCD
Then I tried the Mask as
I’m reading the registers correctly and I'm getting the following:
41806 I'm getting a value of 128 meaning 1000 0000
41807 I'm getting a value of 1 meaning 0000 0001
I'm just not getting it in the bit stripping right.
Hope you can
