Required meter communication status in PSO9.0. We need to know how can we check communication status of any meter on PSO9.0.
KINDLY HELP...!!
Hi Ankit,
If you create the I/O Device instantiated with I/O Device Manager from an exported profile using Profile Editor then you're all set to go.
There is a special health tag ([I/ODevice name]\LPHD1\EEHealth) which triggers an Advanced Alarm: Communication failure for each I/O Device.
At runtime when clicking on the meter's icon (when using a Power Meter standard genie) you will get the equipment details popup, which shows comms status.
Worth exploring other options during runtime as well:
- the new Diagnostics page available through Analysis > Diagnostics menu
- use Kernel of IOServer process
If your target is to create a monitoring page for those meters, if they answer to ping, then you can install and use ICMP driver to check their IP availability in realtime.
Regards,
Adrian
