I have a main pc with win 7 64 connected via usb to a 1500 apc smart ups, I have installed on it business edition powerchute server, console and agent. this all seems to work. I have another quad with win 7 64 in another room connected to a es700 backup ups connected to that computer via the usb cable. On that pc I have the agent and console running.
if i run the console i can see the smart 1500 ups connected to the main pc, if i click add device it sees the back up es700 but says failed to apply the configuration profile to bedroom pc. not sure what i have done wrong.
advice would be appreciated.
also i have another backup es 700 connected to my synology ds411+ but not sure if management of that can be centralised as its not possible to run an agent, synology have it detected in its own control panel.

Hi Peter,
ES700 is compatible with PowerChute Personal Edition and won't allow you to be added on the console of PowerChute Business Edition. In addition, BackUPS units such as ES has no capability to be monitored over the network.
