Hi,
Refer to [Kbase 8301|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=8301&p_created=1168368717&p...] for battery life of APC UPS. Usually, we recommend customer to replace battery once every 3 years, still depending how often the battery is being used.

Hi,
Manual runtime calibration are usually done, for those new batteries or not too old type of batteries, in which the runtime doesn't match the ideal runtime. Since the battery is now 4 years old, it's not adviseable to do runtime calibration anymore. But, yes, runtime calibration can be done thru software or manually.
