My XS 1000 has stopped working. There have been no power interruptions to it to the best of my knowledge. It had been working well. Then, a device that I had plugged into it started encountering power failures. It was more than a week between the first and the second one. The next one was hours later. The last few were minutes apart. Finally, no power. The device (a file server) was plugged into a battery-protected outlet. Another device was plugged into a different battery-protected outlet. It, too, lost power. Upon discovering this, I found that the UPS unit display remained blank no matter what I did and that the on/off power light was off. I tried resetting the circuit breaker. I also tried holding the power button on for at least 10 seconds, but did not hear a beep. I moved the UPS unit to another room and tried it on a separate circuit with the same results. If the problem was a dead battery, I would expect the UPS to still work but to indicate a problem with the battery.
Any suggestions?

Hi Debra,
Can you please prove the model and serial number of the UPS so I can get a better understanding of the situation? It is located on a white sticker on either the back or the bottom of the unit.
During these power failures, were you experiencing any utility power problems, or were these failures only experienced by the equipment plugged into the UPS?
Also, what is the current state of the UPS? Is it on and providing power to the connected equipment?
Regards,
Nicole
