I have a Smart-UPS with a sticker on it that says the model is a SUV650. My question is this... on-battery power I am seeing about 85volts with a standard Fluke 77 multimeter. Is this normal relative to the output waveform this particular unit produces?

Thanks, I had sort of read this before which is why I mentioned my multimeter, although I had thought simply thought that BACK-UPS used the stepped waveform and SMART-UPS did not. Now I see that some of the SMART-UPS do as well.
Thanks very much.
