I need to know what versions of PowerChute Business Edition are compatible with Windows 2008 server R2. Specifically is PCBE 7.04 compatible with Windows 2008 server R2?

PCBE 7.x is an old version. The latest is 8.0.1 (or 8.5 depending on the UPS). There's a compatibility chart here: http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/ASTE-6Z5QEV_R13_EN.pdf

The PCBE version 7XX is not compatible with Windows 2008 OS. As Buzz said, the latest version 8.0.1 supports Windows 2008. Here is the software download link in case if you need it.
