I have 3 Dell T110 servers installed, running on anAPC SmartUPS 1500-RM with UPS Network Management Card 2 installed.
Server 1 is CentOS - Network shutdown works fine with pcns410Linux-x86-64.tar.gz installed on the server.
Server 2 is Ubuntu 12.04LTS - Network shutdown works fine with pcns410Linux-x86-64.tar.gz installed on the server.
Server 3 is Ubuntu 14.04 and with the same pcns410Linux-x86-64.tar.gz installed as the other two servers, it will not shutdown if the UPS sends the shutdown command (either manually, or when the UPS runs on battery due to power failure).
I have re-installed the pcns410Linux-x86-64.tar.gz file, and tried various changes to the install.sh file as discussed on forums, to no avail.
All three servers are correctly configured as PowerChute Clients in the PowerChute Network Shutdown Clients Configuration, and there is communication between them all. Server 3 can ping the APC Network Management Card, and from the command line, the Network Management card can ping server 3.
Can anyone suggest what I can check to resolve this please?

User error on my part. I had not fully completed the installation process detailed here http://www.apc.com/salestools/PMAR-9HBK44/PMAR-9HBK44_R4_EN.pdf
Once this was completed, the network shutdown is now working correctly.
