Hello

I have APC Back-UP Pro 900VA connected via USB to HP Proliant server with SBS2011 OS

  • My operating system - Windows Small Business Server 2011
  • The model and UPS cable  - APC Back-UP Pro 900VA
  • PowerChute version 9.1.1

UPS doesn´t communicate with apcupsd - is not recognised

UPS in device manager

Device is working properly

Recognised battery type

Battery specifications

Ports

driver type and version

HW ID´s

Microsoft driver

PowerChute

fail add device

Is this UPS compatible with Powerchute ?

Hi Bill,

thank you for your reply, I will try. APCUPSD I was try before but no communicating too

I am going to try Personal edition of PowerChute

Hi,

PowerChute Business Edition is not compatible with a Back-UPS Pro. You need to uninstall PowerChute Business Edition and install PowerChute Personal Edition or install APCUPSD if you do not want to run PowerChute Personal Edition
