Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but...
I am looking for an UPS to run a mass spectrometer (900 VA) and a PC workstation that are experiencing issues due to brief sags and surges caused by an associated instrument turning on. The mass spectrometer is very sensitive to even millisecond fluctuations in power and will shut down as a result. Over time the constant shutting down blows the smart card in the spectrometer.
I'm looking for a UPS that will work for this application. Any advice?
Thanks.

Hello Quinton,
You might want to consider our Smart-UPS Online --> [Smart-UPS Online Product Information Page|http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=163]. They offer zero transfer time and can accept a wide voltage range which is good if you're having frequent sags or surge. If you want to know more about the different UPS topologies you can view our white paper here --> [White Paper #1|http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/SADE-5TNM3Y_R7_EN.pdf].
