I have a UPS in MY SF office (4 months old0 that is in bypass
Warning Alarm Present
In Bypass: UPS Switch
IS there a way I can remotely put this unit online?
IF not physically? If so will the servers connected to it loose power when we switch over?
Thanks

Thanks for the quick response
Is there anything onthe GUI to move to bypass?
If not I'll schedule this off hrs as you mentioned we might have power interuption fro bypass to UPS?
This type of transfer doesn't cause power loss to larger UPS transfers as onthe Liebert units

Unfortunately, if the UPS reports status: In Bypass: UPS Switch, the ONLY way to bring it back online is to physically set the bypass switch back to the on-line position. The UPS will not accept a command via software or Network Mangagement Card to override the actual switch.
Coming back online will not interrupt the UPS output to your attached equipment. The transition online will occur within 2 seconds of disabling the bypass switch on the rear of the UPS.
