Last week my Smart UPS 1500 suddenly turned itself off. Very odd and had never happened before. After restarting UPS I checked Powerchute Business (Ver 9.1.1) which indicated the battery should be replaced. I replaced battery on March 23, charged for 24 hours and then ran calibration. All good until this morning when the UPS did the exact same thing. No alarm/warning just complete shutdown crashing the attached computers.
Currently the load on the UPS is at 55.2%, Input/Output voltage are 119.5 VAC, Temp is 77.4. Load Power is 41.6%VA and Load Current 5.3A. Battery Status is normal, 27.67VDC with 13 minutes Run Time Remaining.
Device Serial # WS1119180314, Firmware 653.19.D MFG Date 3/25/2011
Running Powerchute Business Console and Server Version 9.1.1 Build 604. Computer is running Win 10[1607] Intel core i5 4570 @ 3.20 GHz. with 8GB of RAM.
I'm going to be away from my home Office starting Wednesday evening and will not be back before the end of the week. I can't afford to lose half my network because of another shutdown so I'm hoping for a quick fix or I'll be rewiring tomorrow
