Hello,
I'm stuck because of upgrade failure on the UPS. In the Web GUI, many values are set to 0.
UPS firmware : 05.3 (ID1010)
AP9630 firmware : 6.9.4
I'm able to connect to the web GUI but I can't upgrade because it says that UPS is not off. But the GUI only let me to Power On the UPS.
I'm able to connect using Putty (SSH) ou Filezilla (FTP).
I"ve downloaded the latest firmware : SRT1010UPS_07-9.enc
When I try to upload it using Filezilla, I've an error during transfer at about 600 Ko :
Status: Starting upload of C:\temp\SRT1010UPS_07-9.enc
Status: Retrieving directory listing of "/"...
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (172,30,33,251,235,67).
Command: LIST
Response: 150 File status okay; about to open data connection.
Response: 226 Closing data connection.
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (172,30,33,251,130,35).
Command: APPE SRT1010UPS_07-9.enc
Response: 502 APPE command not implemented, or not allowed.
Error: Critical file transfer error after transferring 1,024 bytes in 1 second
What can I do to upgrade the UPS ?
Thanks,
Vincent

Hello,
I tried with the DB9 cable and run the 4.2.1 FirmwareUpgradeWizard.
the UPS is found on COM3:
UPS : 05.3
COM : 05.2
CBL : 01.2
the new firmware detected is : SRT1010UPS_08-3
I have an error during the upgrade process (see screenshot).
Houston ? We have a problem 😞
Thanks for help,
Vincent

Hi Vincent,
It looks like you've might have things a little mixed up, the process your following via FTP is to update the management card not the ups but the file your trying to copy is the UPS firmware.
See below to update a UPS:

The official recommendation is to do it locally via DB9 even when other options are available and I would personally agree with that. It's the most reliable and it can be hard to recover a UPS after a failed firmware update.
