Hello!
I have a "Problem". I want to monitor the APC USV in my Zabbix. Now i am using the Business Edition 9.0.1 beacause in the version 9.5 or 10... i dont know how to use snmp. Can you help me there? The Version 9.5 always says Port already in use. dont know how to get my data into zabbix.
Is it a bad Idea to use 9.0.1? i mean i cant change the snmp community in 9.0.1 or?
How do you monitor with Zabbix?
I hava also the Problem that the communication is lost over USB...
Please give me advise or a guide 🙂
Thanks!

Hi,
If Zabbix allow you to monitor ports other than 161 you should change the port PCBE will use and configure Zabbix to monitor the Agent using the new port. If Zabbix does not allow you to monitor multiple ports you will need to continue to run PCNS 9.1. The other option if Zabbix does not allow for multiple ports would be to install a network card in the Smart-UPS and monitor the UPS using the card.

Hi,
When installing PCBE 9.0.1 on Windows system it uses the Windows SNMP to present and send data. When we released PCBE version 9.5 we included SNMP with the application. This was done to allow SNMP for all supported OS.
To configure SNMP in PCBE version 9.5 and above open the PowerChute Agent web interface and go to PowerChute - SNMP Settings.
From within the SNMP Settings page you can configure SNMP V1, SNMP v3, Trap receives, and under Miscellaneous you can change the port.
If you click on Help you will find information on the settings.

If you continue to use version 9.0.1 the community name via the OS. See Schneider Electric FAQ FA159596

Ok, then i am going to use Versoin 9.5, but when i want to enable SNMP it says Port already in use on 161. But i have to use 161 to grab the data into my windows or? I dont know how to do that than to grab the data via zabbix.
thanks!!!
EDIT:
Lets say so, how do i do that that i can grab data via the snmp service in windows AND collect? the data from the APC.
