I have a SU700xl that I've put a new battery in it. I do not have software, but I do have an AP9605 card. Is it possible to update the date that the battery was changed? Would that be something done via a "set" in SNMP?

I tested with another unit and figured it out via an snmp set. I think I had tried it before on a different unit and didn't get it to work. thanks for the help

I haven't sent the unit I'm working on now out to a terminal just yet, so for now i'm communicating via serial. My issue, I cannot find the option in the menus to make this change.

do you have the IP address of this? you should be able to telnet to it. i dont have one to test but see if you get access via telnet and can do it that way.
if it doesnt have an IP, you would need a UPS serial cable (940-0024 or 940-1524) to configure the card with an IP.
if you cant do it via telnet, we should be able to find the OID to do a set.
