I have a few smart UPS c1500's that are connected via USB to RJ45. I have already installed the USB driver (PL-2303 USB-to-Serial) on all my servers. I have read that you need to run the agent 9.1.1 for the USB to work and not 9.0.3. On one server it did see the ups for about 3 minutes but now is showing offline, my other server never saw the ups during the installation and are showing offline. I have rebooted the servers after installing the USB driver, then installed the agent 9.1.1. The main server agent sees the servers but when I try to add them the all fail to apply configuration profile to the host. I am running Dell R520s with WinSrv 2012 STD.
Any thought would be appreciated.

Yes, the agents would show up but would not add to the central console. This was due to the servers themselves not being able to talk to the UPS via the USB to rj45 connection. I ended up switching over to the usb to usb-b cable and everything started to show and added to the console as expected.

Sorry but would you clarify what you are seeing. Are the PowerChute Agents not being added to the PowerChute Server? If that is the case it could be the UPS is not communicating with the PowerChute Agent or the user name and password used when installing the PowerChute Agents do not match the user name and password use for the PowerChute Server.
