I can get to the PDU on the network.
Current firmware is xpdu-2.0.1, aos-2.6.4
It isn't recognized by ISX Mgr as a valid APC device. I figure the firmware needs to be upgraded, but can't find any information on where to get the firmware to do the upgrade.
Where do I get the upgrade, if there is one? Or should I post in the ISX Mgr forum?

Your Firmware is the newest available for the ISX PDU. Try resetting the boot mode as suggested above.
Thanks.

Actually, this is the full rack PDU for InfraStruXure, not the PDU power strips. Search the site for PDRPPNX14-M1.

I believe the PDU needs to be on the private side LAN of the ISX Manager. Then, the ISX Manager should provide it with an IP, and recognize it as a valid device. I do not beleive this PDU will be recognized properly if it is connected to your public LAN.

We have the same problem at our Data Centers. There are three 80's now in the plant with none of the ISX PDU's have the ability to work with APC Manager in the regular coporate network. If they are placed in the private networking area, they are fine. It would be nice to see this fixed.

There is a new firmware available for the xpdu, version 333. I am not sure why it's not posted on the website, but you can call into the 3 phase support line and they can e-mail it to you. This new revision does allow the devices to communicate on the public LAN

Another common issue I have seen with Not an APC Device is not having an IP address configured for the public port of the ISX manager, regardless of it is connected to your public network or not. You need to have an IP, subnet mask, and gateway entered.

I've seen this before where "rebooting" the ISX MGR fixed the issue. Give it a try.

No luck. I changed the boot mode back and forth, tried a different IP. ISX Mgr can ping the device, but doesn't recognize it as an APC device. I'm running ISX Mgr 4.6.1 build 23
