Hi.

I have this ups:

Model: Smart-UPS 2200 RM
Serial Number: JS0727006152
Firmware Revision: 665.6.I
Manufacture Date: 07/03/07

And it shows strange voltage info:

Power
Input Voltage: 227.5 VAC
Output Voltage: 227.5 VAC
Battery
Capacity: 100.0 %
Battery Voltage: 55.35 VDC

Another one(apc6000) show correct infos:
Power
Input Voltage: 226.0 VAC
Output Voltage: 231.6 VAC
Battery
Capacity: 100.0 %
Battery Voltage: 218.1 VDC

I could not find a firmware to check if there is a newer one, and does it means that i need to replace battery?

Hi Marcin,

Do you have the model number of the unit (located on the white barcode sticker on the back of the unit), but based on the serial number, there isn't any firmware upgrade for it.  Also battery life span is about 3-5 years, and based on the serial number you have, the unit was manufactured around 2007.

Nothing strange about that at all. the SUA is a line-interactive, so VOUT=VIN mostly. It's also a 48V UPS, so a battery voltage of 55.35 is a whisker high, but close enough. Nothing there can give any indication of battery life, but as Bill said it's a 2007 manufacture so the batteries are probably well shagged by now. If you are really interested you should run a calibration cycle.

The APC6000 you show looks like (based only on the voltages. I'm not familiar with the units) an on-line unit with a 192v (16*12v) battery set. A completely different beast entirely.
